Description
Ruddy Turnstone by HH Photography of Florida.
A lone Ruddy Turnstone (Arenaria interpres) standing on a rock near the shoreline and the waters of Tampa Bay. These colorful and beautifully marked birds with their feathers of rusty, reddish brown and black and white, are a much beloved winter visitor to the Sunshine State. Photographed Tampa Bay on the Florida Gulf coast.
