Description
Sandpipers On The Beach by HH Photography of Florida.
A small flock of sandpipers scurry down the beach, foraging in the sand as they dash and dart along the shoreline. One of the most abundant shorebirds, these sweet little birds are always a joy to watch running back and forth with the ebb and flow of the tide. Photographed on the Florida Gulf coast. Digital manipulation of my original photograph for an artistic presentation.~

Superb capture! These sandpipers prey on small crabs which come out of their burrows as the tide recedes to catch small preys drifted ashore by the tide. In other words, these sandpipers predate on predators. F/L.

Thank you Kunchar. You're right and they are such fun to watch as they scurry up and down the beach with the tide.
