Description
Marsh Egrets And Friends by HH Photography of Florida.
Late afternoon in this wetlands marsh finds a gathering of Snowy Egrets (Egretta thula), a lone Great Egret (Ardea alba), a couple of immature brown and white American White Ibis (Eudocimus albus) and a lone Double-crested Cormorant (Nannopterum auritum) amidst cattail flora. Preening and just relaxing seems to be the activity of the afternoon as the light begins to fade on this early December afternoon. Seen and photographed on the Central Florida Gulf coast.
