A colorful blue, white and black Blue Jay (Cyanocitta cristata) perched on a branch in an oak tree with green leaves and morning sunshine. The Blue Jay, sometimes called "jaybird," is native to North America and is found throughout the central and eastern United States. Their noisy and raucous vocals let you know these birds are nearby.
