Golden sunlight bathes this Mallard drake (Anas platyrhynchos) as he preens his colorful feathers on a misty spring morning. His beautiful plumage glistens in the early sunshine as light fog swirls around him in this local Florida pond. Digital effects and textures have been applied to my original photograph.
