Description
Often during the summer months, dust from the Sahara Desert gets caught up in the easterly winds coming off of the African coast and sweeps across the Atlantic and the state of Florida. The dust in the air can create stunning sunrise and sunset skies which is what happened on this balmy August evening. The peachy/orange sky and reflections engulfed us like a warm blanket. Photographed on the Florida Gulf coast. Original fine art photography by HH Photography of Florida.

Who knew dust could be so gorgeous!
HH Photography of Florida replied:
Not me, for sure, until we started getting such beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Then the weather people told us why. :) Thanks Kandy.
