A close-up look a a Papa Grizzly Bear (Ursus arctos.) Also known as brown bears, these fearsome predators are such amazing creatures, fascinating and riveting to watch as they go about their daily activities in the wild. The grizzly is second in size only to the largest terrestrial member in the order Carnivora, the polar bear. Although they have a reputation of being a carnivore, brown bears actually get 90% of their food from vegetable matter such as roots and bulbs, grasses, acorns, flowers, berries, and pine cones.
