Yoga Master by HH Photography of Florida.

A mature Brown Pelican (Pelecanus occidentalis) doing some stretching and what appears to be a yoga position. One of my favorite birds, I've always thought that the Brown Pelicans were the comedians of the bird world because they always give me a good laugh.

Whether they're trying to steal food from each other, vigorously splish - splashing, dipping and flapping when they take a bath or twisting and turning when they preen, the Brown Pelican is an entertainment act that I never want to miss. So glad they're a big part of our Florida wildlife.
