Plant Hall Minarets by HH Photography of Florida.

One of the beautiful silver minarets that rise from the rooftop over Plant Hall on the University of Tampa campus, Tampa, Florida, is always a welcome sight in the Tampa skyline. The building was once a 511 room luxury hotel built in the late 1800's by railroad and shipping magnate, Henry B. Plant. The City of Tampa purchased the building in 1905 for $125,000 and it eventually became home to the University of Tampa.
