Description
Citizenship In A Republic The Man In The Arena by HH Photography of Florida.
The Man In The Arena is an excerpt from Theodore Roosevelt’s famous speech, Citizenship In A Republic, and has become the model and blueprint for what it means to be a good citizen in a society. The then 26th President of the United States, delivered the speech at the Sorbonne in Paris, France on April 23, 1910. The gist of the speech is that even though we may stumble and fall, we are encouragesd to get involved, to be bold and courageous, to follow our convictions and not sit on the sidelines. It is better to try and fail than to sit passively idle and safe. Dedicated to those souls who have the courage and tenacity to step into the arena. Created with white text on a black canvas, vertical background.
