The Orange Door by HH Photography of Florida.
Flanked on both sides of the orange door and stairsteps by flowering red bougainvillea flowers, this is just one of a handful of Mediterranean Revival style stucco bungalows located in the Burns Court historic area of downtown Sarasota, Florida. The structures also have a beautiful, Spanish architectural style influence. The enclave was originally built in 1924/25 as a residential area by Owen Burns, a prominent local developer. It is now mostly commercial property and home to the ever popular Burns Court Cinema. The Burns Square Historic District is a local treasure here on the Florida Gulf coast. My original photograph has been digitally painted for an artistic presentation.
