Perched Pelican by HH Photography of Florida.

On a sunny, summer afternoon by the bay, an adult Brown Pelican (Pelecanus occidentalis) is seen resting on an Australian pine tree branch. A beloved Florida shorebird, the Brown Pelican is probably my most favorite bird to photograph. I found this one sitting in the mangroves and pines here on the Gulf coast. Textures have been applied for a creative, artistic presentation.
