Northern Mockingbird 2 by HH Photography of Florida.
The Northern Mockingbird (Mimus polyglottos) is a joyful little songbird who sings endlessly and tirelessly and may take the record for having the most number of songs in it's repertoire. They sing at all hours of the day and night and on several occasions, one has kept me awake with it's singing into the wee hours of the morning. I'm always happy to see a Mockingbird perched high in a tree or on a rooftop, singing it's beautiful music.
The Northern Mockingbird is the state bird of 5 states ... Florida, Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee and Texas.
