Making My Way Home by HH Photography of Florida.
A lone Brown Pelican (Pelecanus occidentalis) heads for home at the end of the day on a sultry summer evening. Looking through the feathery fronds of a tropical palm tree, the cloud covered sky is painted in beautiful hues of burnt orange and yellow as the sun sinks slowly in the western sky. All is well as the day draws to a close here on the Florida Gulf coast.
