Hairy Highlander BW by HH Photography of Florida.
While traveling the country back roads of west central Florida one warm autumn afternoon, I came across this Highland Cow (Bos taurus) standing in a pasture, chewing it’s cud. The Highland cow is a Scottish breed and does not tolerate the heat very well which is why they’re not really suited to Florida living. This was the first I’d ever seen here on the Gulf coast.
