Description
Angel In The Mist by HH Photography of Florida.
It’s early morning on the marsh and a beautiful Great Egret (Ardea alba) is preparing to land in the grassy waters of this wetlands landscape. With it’s snow white wings spread wide and sunlit by the rising sun, he has come to this favorite “fishing hole” to begin the search for breakfast. A bit of misty fog lingers on the pond waters as the day begins. A digital composite of bird and textures.

Mercy, but this is nice. I love the crisp detail of the egret [perfectly captured too!] and the softness of the field around it. This is what would be in ones mind's eye as they glanced up and focused for one instant on this scene. Wonderful!
