Here in Florida, the American White Pelican is a yearly winter visitor to the Sunshine State. It's always a delight to see them returning each autumn to grace our landscape for a few months and always a sad day when they leave for the summer. This small flock was observed floating in the local bay waters on a beautiful winter morning. Photographed on the Gulf coast.
