Soaring High by HH Photography of Florida.
An American White Pelican (Pelecanus erythrorhynchos) soars high overhead with it's wings spread wide and it's webbed feet tucked neatly underneath it's body. This majestic bird is one of the largest birds in North America and one of my favorite winter visitors to Florida. Photographed on the Florida Gulf coast.
